18 Healthy Fall Recipes for Foodies

I just recently had a friend get in touch and ask for all my healthy recipes because she just started Weight Watchers. I'm excited for her to be on a journey to a more healthy lifestyle! If you've decided that a traditional diet plan, or any diet really, is a good fit for you, it might be seem daunting to change the way you cook overnight. I'm here to tell you that you can still eat like a foodie and love your life! I've rounded up 18 of the most appetizing, healthy dinners on the internet for all my friends wanting to eat a little lighter while the rest of the world is stuffing their faces with pumpkin pie (we've got a smoothie for that!) and mashed potatoes. Here's the difference between this list and many of the others you'll find by doing a quick Google search on this topic -- I've personally tried every one of these recipes. This is the food that I love to cook over and over again for my own family throughout the fall.

Before we dive in, I think it stands to be said that I truly believe that if you want to make a SUSTAINABLE lifestyle change to get healthier, you're going to have to learn to like (and make) inherently healthier foods. I'm not a fan of dressing up pasta or dessert recipes under the guise of "paleo" or "weight watchers friendly" to make them COUNT within your diet. I think that sets you up for failure later, when you're prepared to get off your plan, stop counting, and just live healthier. So, you won't find any of that here. These are all whole food recipes that are packed with nutrients, and can be tailored to each member of your family (if you're skeptical on that last point, take a look at Jenny's method for getting the different types of eaters in her family on board with one meal, slightly tweaked on each person's plate).

If you like what you find here, I encourage you to consider one-on-one coaching, where I'll teach you how to develop your own delicious recipes that won't ruin your plan to get on-track.
